Files & Folders Files & Folders

The files you have direct access to: what you uploaded yourself, and what has been shared with you — intros, outros, music, images, cover art.

Upload a file and New folder, top right, add to the current level. The / underneath is the breadcrumb: it shows where you are and walks back up.

Two tables, one above the other. The first lists the folders at this level — click one to go into it, or use the pencil to rename and the bin to delete. The second lists the files:

Column
Preview A thumbnail for images and video, an icon for audio.
File Name Sorts, and searches with 🔎.
Type image, video, audio — also sortable and searchable.
Size, Date Sortable.
Download Takes the file as it was uploaded.
Actions The ⋯ menu: Details, Refresh the thumbnail, Manage Access, Share with team, Delete.

Answers are not here

Recordings and uploads collected through a form do not appear in this list. They belong to the response that carried them, and you reach them from that form's Responses tab — play them in the row, or download them from there.

Access follows the form rather than the file: whoever can see a form's responses can hear its recordings, and nobody else. It also keeps a library of a few working files from being buried under hundreds of answers.

Files are organised in folders, and a folder can hold folders of its own. Drag an item onto a folder to move it, or use Move to from its menu.

Anything you can see in a list you can also search from the box at the top: search looks at names, not at file contents.

Deleting a folder does not delete what it contains — the items move back up to the level above, so tidying up can never lose your work.

Downloads keep the name the file was given when it arrived. Recordings downloaded from a form's responses are named after the question they answer instead, so a batch of them sorts by question rather than by upload time.
