Rumble Studio¶
The migration is over
Rumble Studio closed on 31 August 2026. The migration screen stayed open for another forty days and closed on 10 October 2026, and Rumble Studio itself has now been switched off.
There is no longer anything to connect to, so the screen this page described has been removed from spOken. Lifetime deals that were carried across are unaffected and remain on their accounts.
The rest of this page is kept as a record of how the migration worked. Nothing on it can be done any more.
spOken is a complete new version of the product, built from scratch, not a renamed Rumble Studio. If you had material in a Rumble Studio account, this is how you got it out.
First: create a spOken account¶
Sign up, not in — your Rumble Studio password does not work here
spOken and Rumble Studio are separate products with separate accounts. Having an account on one does not give you an account on the other, so there is nothing for you to sign in to yet: a sign-in form will keep refusing you, however correct your Rumble Studio password is.
Go to spoken.systems/auth/register and create a new account, using the same email address as your Rumble Studio account. Nothing moves over on its own, and nothing on the Rumble Studio side is changed by any of this.
The email address is what matters. Use a different one and everything on this page still works, except claiming a Lifetime Deal, which has to be claimed into the account whose address matches.
Which address is your lifetime deal actually on?
Very often, not the one you use every day — and this is the single most common reason the migration says you have no deal.
A lifetime deal lives on whichever address it was redeemed with on Rumble Studio, which is not always the address it was bought with on AppSumo, and frequently not the address you write email from. People buy on a work address and redeem on a personal one, or the other way round, or use a second address for a second licence.
If the tool says it cannot find your deal, look at your AppSumo receipt before assuming anything is lost. The address on it is the place to start. If your Rumble Studio account on that address will not let you in, reset its password at app.rumble.studio — the deal is not gone, it is behind a forgotten password.
So the order is:
- Create your spOken account at spoken.systems/auth/register, with your Rumble Studio email address.
- Sign in to spOken with that new account and its new password.
- Come back to this page and connect Rumble Studio, below, to pull your material across.
The two accounts stay separate afterwards. Connecting on this page is not a merge: spOken reads your Rumble Studio account so it can hand you your files, and that is all it ever does.
It exports to your computer, not into spOken
This tool downloads your interviews into a folder on your own device. It does not recreate them as forms or responses inside spOken. Once the files are on your machine you upload the ones you still need — usually into Files, or straight into a collection if they are finished episodes.
That is deliberate: it means you keep everything, in the open, whatever you decide to do next.
The migration, step by step¶
The page is one numbered list, worked through from the top. Each step past the first needs the account connected, and says so until it is.
1. Connect the Rumble Studio source account. Your Rumble Studio email and password — the ones that used to work on app.rumble.studio, entered here, inside spOken. It is the account being read; the spOken account being written to is the one you signed in with, shown at the top of the page, and the two do not have to match.
This box wants your Rumble Studio password, not your spOken one
You are signed in to spOken, so your browser or password manager will happily offer your spOken password here — it is the right site, after all. It is the wrong password, and the connection will simply be refused. Look at what was filled in before you press Connect Rumble Studio, and replace it if it is not the Rumble Studio one.
Forgotten that password? Reset it on Rumble Studio itself, at app.rumble.studio/auth/password-forgotten, then come back to this page. Resetting your spOken password does not help: the two accounts have nothing in common but, if you chose so, an email address.
2. Check your Lifetime Deal licence. If you bought an LTD, this imports it into the spOken account you are signed in to. For security the two emails must match here: connect an account with a different address and everything else still works, but its LTD cannot be claimed from this session — you need a spOken account carrying that address, which for most people means registering it rather than signing in to one that does not exist yet. If no eligible deal is found, the step offers a support ticket.
It says no eligible deal was found
Work through these before opening a ticket — between them they account for nearly every case:
- The deal is on another of your addresses. Check your AppSumo receipt and connect the Rumble Studio account for the address on it. This is by far the most common one.
- The spOken account you are signed in to has a different address. The deal imports into the matching account, so either register a spOken account on that address, or change the address on this one from your profile page — your existing subscription stays with the account, not with the address.
- You hold several licences. Each one is a separate Rumble Studio account and needs its own spOken account on the same address. They do not stack onto one account.
- The deal was refunded. A refunded licence is withdrawn and will not import. Getting into the mailbox again does not bring it back.
Still stuck? Open a ticket and attach the AppSumo invoice PDF — not just the order number. The invoice names the address the licence was activated with, which is usually the answer.
3. Download your interviews. Choose folder picks where they go — the browser will ask permission to write there, and Change folder picks a different one. Select all or tick the ones you want, then Sync in folder downloads them. Syncing again into the same folder only fetches what is missing, so an interrupted run can simply be restarted. Download guest emails exports the addresses of the people who took part, which are otherwise the hardest thing to carry across.
4. Download your mixes. Each mix into its own folder, with the source files of its playlist and every export rendered from it.
5. Download your rendered exports. Every episode you ever rendered, including those whose mix has since been deleted — audio, video or archive, each in its own folder.
6. Download the included jingles. The jingles that came with Rumble Studio. They are yours to keep and to use however you like.
7. Import your design system / branding kit. Brings the Colours and Images you had defined there into a spOken design system, so you are not picking hex codes off old screenshots.
Steps 3 to 6 write to your own device and can be run in any order, or repeated later — nothing on the Rumble Studio side is changed or removed by any of this.
Podcasts already published¶
If your show is already live on a feed, do not move it by hand: a collection can Import from RSS feed... and pull the whole back catalogue in one step. Keep the feed Unlocked on the old host while you migrate, and lock it again once you have settled.
